La classe non è acqua e Roland Sands ce lo dimostra ogni volta, questa Indian Scout, spogliata di tutta la sua modernità, avvalora ancor più il detto.
Presentato al Wheels & Waves a Biarritz questo progetto è piaciuto subito, e il risultato è sotto i vostri occhi nelle foto sotto, un gran lavoro che supera quello che avevamo visto tempo fa realizzato su di una Indian Chief (guarda qui). Bellissima la forcella stile Chromoly che ingloba un’ammortizzatore Ohlins TTX per mountain bike, tutta l’elettronica e cavi vari sono stati sapientemente nascosti, a parte il motore moderno il resto è stato veramente realizzato in stile old school puro, colorazione compresa.
Vari i pezzi RSD usati e molti realizzati appositamente per questa special, gomme Dunlop tracker, peccato solo per i radiatori che seppur rifatti sono sempre una stonatura rispetto al resto del lavoro che resta comunque un ottimo omaggio ai mitici modelli che hanno calcato circuiti e strade americane negli anni 30 e 40.
