Vediamo in questo articolo, secondo il nostro parere, uno dei migliori lavori bobber eseguiti su uno Sportster. il lavoro è stato realizzato da Lluís Ibañez Casabon di LA Motorcycles a Barcellona. Credo che pochi guardando queste foto direbbero che sotto questo splendido lavoro c’è in origine un HD Sportster 883 Low del 2006!
Casabon è riuscito a dare alla moto un magistrale sapore retrò con gusto e classe, senza eccessi. Fantastico è il serbatoio personalizzato da Salinas Boys al posto del classico peanut, eccezzionali e in puro stile pre-guerra Harley VL le forcelle Springer, sovrastate da un faro Phantom. La sospensione posteriore è più moderna, e si tratta di un 11″ di Progressive Suspension, adagiato accanto ad un parafango posteriore piatto sagomato a mano e una replica del fanale posteriore pre-guerra. Scarichi supertrapp scuri e larghi che danno l’idea di un bel suono cupo e ritmato.
Infine i pneumatici Avon Speedmaster su cerchi da 16 e sedile e manopole in color marrone chiaro danno un look fantastico e assolutamente old school come potete osservare dalle foto successive. Forse l’unico neo di questa moto è la targa in quella posizione che rovina un po la linea, probabilmente sarebbe stata meglio sul lato a fianco al disco del freno…

I think few would say that looking at these photos below this beautiful work is originally a HD Sportster 883 Low 2006! Casabon failed to give the bike a masterful retro flavor with taste and class, without excess. Fantastico is the custom tank from Salinas Boys instead of the classic peanut, exceptional and in pure style pre-war Harley VL forks Springer, topped by a lighthouse Phantom. The rear suspension is more modern, and it is a 11 “by Progressive Suspension, lying next to a rear fender plate shaped by hand and a replica of the taillight pre-war. Discharges supertrapp dark and wide, giving the feeling of a nice hollow sound and rhythm. Finally Avon Speedmaster tires on rims 16 and seat and knobs light brown give a great look and definitely old school as you can see from the photos above. Perhaps the only flaw of this bike is the plate in that position that ruins a little the line, probably would have been better on the side next to the brake disc …
