Vediamo oggi la splendida creatura basata su Harley Davidson IronHead “Mele” così chiamata in modo originale da DP Custom.
Ormai li conosciamo bene i ragazzi di DP Custom, abbiamo visto diverse special realizzate da loro e sappiamo che sono molto originali nei loro progetti e non seguono quasi mai le tendenze generali della moda custom.
Molte le modifiche e personalizzazioni realizzate usando come base un Ironhead 1000cc ricostruito per intero, telaio artigianale fatto appositamente per questa moto, particolare il serbatoio dell’olio posizionato verticalmente sotto la sella che sembra più un siluro o una bombola in alluminio, sistema di scarico personalizzate realizzato a X con logo della DPC, parafango posteriore con uno strano alettone che ricorda le auto da gara e che forse stona un po su questa Harley, gomme pirelli e semi-manubri che richiamano lo stile cafè racer creando così un misto tra bobber e cafè racer. L’obiettivo era proprio quello di creare un ibrido tra i due mondi motociclistici e in parte ci sono riusciti, poi i gusti sono gusti. Ad ogni modo se siete interessati il costo indicativo per questa special è di circa 20000 euro, sempre se è ancora in vendita…
Ora guardiamola un po nelle varie foto da più angolazioni e alcuni dettaglidei particolari che denotano la precisione e cura della lavorazione.
