Siamo qua oggi ad osservare questo ennesimo lavoro realizzato da DP Custom su questa splendida Harley Davidson custom Ironhead del 1979.
La special è stata realizzata in omaggio alla GULF famoso marchio americano di carburanti, lo si vede subito dal simbolo presente sulla moto ma anche dai classici colori della casa americana. L’ispirazione ai ragazzi di DP Custom è venuta dopo aver acquistato un giubotto replica della famosa giacca che indossava Steve McQueen nel famoso film Le Mans, affascinati dai colori e dal film hanno deciso di dedicare una delle loro creazioni.
Alla fine hanno deciso di fare l serbatoio con il classico bianco vivo, il telaio rigido appositamente realizzato è stato verniciato assieme al parafango posteriore di blu un po più scuro del blu Gulf e infine i cerchi 21″ e 16″ colorati a polvere di arancione.
Scarichi artigianali affiancati che danno un suono unico! Dopo aver presentato questa moto DP Custom ha ricevuto diverse richieste per ricrearne altre simili, ma hanno sempre rifiutato per far si che questo rimanesse l’unico esemplare in circolazione.

The special has been done in homage to GULF famous American brand of fuel, it can be seen immediately by the symbol on the bike, but also from the classic colors of the American home. The inspiration to the kids of DP Custom came after buying a replica of the famous vest jacket he wore in the famous Steve McQueen film Le Mans, fascinated by the colors and the film have decided to dedicate one of their creations. Eventually they decided to make the tank with the classic white vivo, the rigid frame specially made was painted along with the rear fender of the blue a little darker than the blue Gulf and finally rims 21 “and 16” colored powder orange. Discharges craft alongside that give a unique sound! After presenting this bike DP Custom has received several requests to recreate similar, but they have always refused to allow this to remain the only copy in circulation.
